Greater Manchester takes to the doorsteps again as Manchester Cathedral and Old Trafford turn blue for our NHS heroes

It's become part of the weekly lockdown ritual. At 8pm on Thursday the nation comes together to 'Clap For Carers', celebrating the key workers helping the ill and vulnerable during the coronavirus pandemic.

And tonight was no different. Thousands of people across Greater Manchester were out on their doorsteps, balconies, drives and in their front gardens for yet another mass round of applause.

And tonight Manchester Cathedral and Old Trafford were also lit up in blue in a show of support for the NHS.
