Mist and fog is rolling into Greater Manchester and the north west this weekend. The weather forecast for the weekend looks set to be largely clear with some sunny spells, but there will be areas of mist, fog, and freezing fog and the January conditions continue.
The Met Office has forecast a 'bright and largely dry weekend', however, it has warned that the temperature will be 'feeling cold' as temperatures plummet overnight tonight (Saturday January 6).
The Met Office has said that today marks a 'pleasant start to the weekend with a good number of sunny spells after any early mist patches gradually clear during the morning'.
