Haven extends closure of all UK holiday parks as coronavirus lockdown continues to affect business

The owners of Ayr's biggest holiday park have confirmed they will extend their closure into the peak summer season.Craig Tara is to stay shut until at least July 2, bosses at Haven confirmed this afternoon.All of the company's parks across the UK are to have their closures extended as a result of the ongoing threat posed by Covid-19.A Haven spokesman said: "Despite recent changes to the Government’s lockdown restrictions, the safety of our guests and team remains our number one priority and so under the ongoing circumstances, we believe keeping our parks closed is the right thing to do."We appreciate how disappointing this decision will be for those families that were due to stay with us during this time and wish we could have offered them
