Ian Rankin has received his first dose of the coronavirus jab and has told fans that it was ‘absolutely fine’. The Scots crime author, who is 60-years-old, nipped over to the mass-vaccination site at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre yesterday.
He jokingly told his Twitter followers that he was yet to get any “super powers” following his vaccination. Speaking to STV News outside the conference centre, he hoped that the vaccine rollout would be the gateway to more holidays abroad in the near future.
