Jurgen Klopp could repeat a trick of previous transfer windows with Liverpool having been linked with a number of players who are shining for relegation-threatened clubs.
Klopp has previously pounced for players that have impressed with teams who have ended the season in the bottom three of the Premier League.
In 2017, the German signed Andy Robertson from Hull while Georginio Wijnaldum made the switch from Newcastle. Both teams had been relegated.
And, 12 months later, Klopp was back in the market again as he signed Xherdan Shaqiri from relegated Stoke. And the Liverpool Echo are tipping Klopp to be busy again whenever the summer transfer window opens.
