Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has contacted PSG star Kylian Mbappe’s dad as he looks to secure the forward’s signature. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Anfield since the January transfer window.

With 90 goals in 120 games for the French Champions, the 21-year-old is commanding Real Madrid’s attention. Liverpool’s Champions League success and 25-point lead at the top of the Premier League, though, has seen them emerge as competitors.

And French outlet Le10 Sport says Klopp has spoken to Mbappe’s father in a bid to get the forward to Anfield. The German spoke to Wilfred to get an understanding of the 21-year-old’s intentions for the summer.
