Kate Garraway skips first Clap For Carers for months as Derek Draper remains critical

Kate Garraway didn't do the Clap for Carers last night while her husband Derek Draper remains in hospital. The Good Morning Britain host and their children Darcey, 14, and Billy, 10, applauded NHS staff and other key workers every Thursday while Derek was in a coma after his battle with coronavirus.
The final official Clap for Carers was two weeks ago but Kate continued it last week to show her support for those who are fighting to keep Derek alive.
Instead of taking to their street to bang saucepans and clap their hands, the last installment was the trio giving a round of applause in their kitchen.
