Katy Perry has given fans a look at the Jean Paul Gaultier maternity outfit she would have worn to the Met Gala had it not been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The pregnant singer shared a snap of a dusky pink cone bra with wraparound straps and a curved piece for her baby bump. She captioned the photo: “what would have been… #TheMetBall2020.” Perry is expecting her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom and the outfit would have been her boldest maternity ensemble to date.
Last year Perry attended the gala dressed as a chandelier. The gala, which has a different theme every year, is synonymous with glitz and glamour as the world’s biggest designers spend months preparing to dress A-listers in elaborate and extravagant outfits.
