Jim Goodwin insists keeping his players’ mental health in good order during lockdown is just as important as pulling a team together for next season.
The Buddies are working hard to get their squad is good shape as Scottish football nears a return to action on the pitch, which is set to restart with training sessions of small groups later this month.
And while manager Goodwin is fully focused on building on his first successful season in charge, he is also making sure everyone associated with the club comes through the Covid-19 pandemic mentally unscathed.
He told Express Sport: “From the football perspective, and men in general, I think we’re all a little reluctant to talk about mental health.“Dressing rooms are still macho places and
