Police say three people were hurt in a shooting Friday night in Kensington. KENSINGTON - Police say gunfire from a triple shooting Friday night in Kensington hit a nearby home with several people inside including an infant.

Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 2900 block of Frankford Avenue around 7:30 p.m. for reports of gunshots.

Officers drove a victim to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower body, according to police. Two more men arrived at Temple Hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Investigators said nearly a dozen shots were fired during the shooting. Some of the bullets struck a nearby home with at least seven people inside including an infant, according to police.

Man sought for lighting Wissinoming home's American flag on fire, police say

WISSINOMING - Police are searching for a man who they believe lit an American flag on fire that was hanging from a home in Wissinonming early Friday morning. Police and firefighters were called to a home on the 6100 block of Hegerman Street just before 3 a.m. for reports of an unknown man lighting the home's American flag on fire.Police say the suspect left before first responders arrived at the home.

Nevada woman broke into a dentist’s office, stole money and pulled 13 teeth from an unconscious patient on two separate occasions, according to Washoe County police.Deputies allege that Laurel Eich – who is not a dentist – broke into a dental office where she claimed she had formerly worked.Eich allegedly stole $22,861 in cash and checks during the May 3 break-in, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.Meanwhile, the tooth extraction occurred on a different date than the break-in, Eich told detectives.
