Eight of the new patients are from Kannur district, seven from Kasargod, one each from Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram ERNAKULAM : Twenty more Covid-19 patients were confirmed in Kerala on Sunday, taking the total tally of active patients to 181, state health minister KK Shailaja said.
Eight of the new patients are from Kannur district, seven from Kasargod, one each from Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram.
Out of them, 18 returned from overseas trips recently, said Shailaja, and two were infected through existing patients. Kerala has 1,41,211 people under observation so far, only 593 of them in hospitals and the rest at their houses, she said.
