Kerry Katona has said she would be ‘devastated’ if her child Max was transgender, because it would mean she would lose her only son.
The 39-year-old star – who has Molly, 18, and Lilly-Sue, 17, with first husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 13, and Max, 12, with second spouse Mark Croft, and six-year-old DJ with late third husband George Kay – still insisted she would be supportive if any of her kids were struggling with their gender identity, though.
But while she would support them with their transitions, the former Atomic Kitten singer admitted it would be hard to lose her son.
Kerry was speaking after Stereophonics’ frontman Kelly Jones opened up last week about his 15-year-old teenager being transgender.
