A 27-year-old Co Kerry woman with cystic fibrosis (CF) has described her upset with people disregarding the coronavirus social distancing guidelines.
Speaking from her home just outside of Tralee this afternoon, Ashe Spillane said: "All weekend I saw so many people out in pubs or at events, not adhering to the social distancing guidelines and it's upsetting. "Most people in my situation are trying our best not to catch Covid-19.
It's hard when you see people dismissing social distancing and not taking it seriously." Ms Spillane, who has been self-isolating since last week, explained that her brother also has CF and her father has multiple sclerosis.
