Baseball in South Korea has resumed amid the coronavirus pandemic as it gives sports fans a glimpse of what the ‘new normal’ could be.
With the majority of sporting events cancelled or suspended amid the current outbreak, baseball got its big break in South Korea this week.
After a weeks-long delay because of coronavirus, the new season began in South Korea that saw players and umpires wear protective masks.
Cheerleaders were also pictured dancing with masks over their mouths during the season opener between SK Wyverns and Hanwha Eagles at the empty SK Happy Dream Ballpark.
