Labour tonight appeals for carers, supermarket shelf-stackers and delivery drivers to stand for election to their local council.
Deputy leader Angela Rayner said key workers who kept the country running during the coronavirus lockdown were exactly the sort of people needed in power at town halls to help rebuild after the pandemic.
