Dental practices across Lanarkshire reopened their doors on Monday.Initially for urgent care only, dentists cannot use aerosol generating procedures (AGP) limiting the number of treatments that can be carried out.That means procedures using high-speed drills or that would create droplets in the air are not permitted.Laura Milby, clinical director for general dental services, said: “Patients will notice a difference when they attend their dental practices.“The front doors will remain closed and patients can only attend if they have an appointment.
