Perth and Kinross after the COVID-19 infection rate dropped in the last week. The most recent data from Public Health Scotland up until January 12 shows an infection rate of 231.7 per 100,000 people.
That is down from 268.5 the previous week.The number of cases dropped from 408 to 352, while the percentage of positive cases has dropped from 10.9 per cent to 9.4 per cent.It is the lowest infection rate recorded since January 2 and is a 20 per cent drop on January 7 when the rate peaked at 290.9 per 100,000.
Only one neighbourhood in the region now has an infection rate of above 400 per 100,000 - Hillyland, Tulloch and Inveralmond in Perth.
