Laura Whitmore has revealed that she will "never be ok" with the death of pal Caroline Flack. Whitmore, 34, replaced Caroline as the host of Love Island in December after her friend stood down following an assault charge.
Although she took the role on with her pal's blessing, she revealed that she was reluctant to take the job. Revealing her feelings to Cosmopolitan UK, the Irish star said: "It'll never be OK and it'll never be right.
It did scare me. "She was so strong-willed and feisty and I remember thinking, 'God, I wish I could be as strong as her'. I felt like if people said things, it wouldn't bother her.
But obviously it did because everyone is human." Laura added: "I don't want to speculate reasons because nobody will ever know.
