Lauren Goodger has admitted to breaking lockdown rules twice to see friends. The former Towie star, 33, has responded to claims she went against the strict restrictions put in place by the UK government during the coronavirus pandemic, preventing people from leaving home and meeting with family and friends.

While lockdown restrictions have eased slightly – allowing people to meet up to six people outside – Lauren confessed that she had visited friends before the update because she was ‘confused’ by the changing rules.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Lauren said that she was ‘as good as gold’ for the first 10 weeks of lockdown, but was ‘confused’ when Boris began to slowly ease restrictions.
