Midfielder Chukwuemeka is also believed to be on Manchester City's radar, although Villa are hoping to persuade the teenager to stay.

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia police SWAT officer was taken to the hospital after sources say he was shot in his bulletproof vest in North Philadelphia while serving a warrant.The incident occurred Friday afternoon on the 100 block of West Lehigh Avenue. Police tell FOX 29 the officer was serving a drug warrant at a barbershop when he was struck in the chest by gunfire. Police say the the bullet struck his bulletproof vest.

Denise Pierson cold case: Officials announce charges relating to 1981 murder in Delaware County

(Delaware County District Attorney's Office/Pennsylvania State Police)MEDIA, Pa - Pennsylvania State Police and the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office announced charges in connection to the 1981 murder of Denise Pierson, on Friday afternoon. Pierson was an 18-year-old Marcus Hook resident who disappeared on April 14, 1981. Her remains were found in July 1981 and an autopsy determined the manner of death as homicide by blunt impact to the head.According to authorities, 58-year-old Wayne Anthony Walker has been charged with criminal homicide, kidnapping, conspiracy, first-degree murder, second-degree murder and third-degree murder.

Waukesha parade attack: Darrell Brooks pleads not guilty, more charges

WAUKESHA, Wis. - A Milwaukee man accused of killing six people and injuring dozens more when he drove an SUV through a suburban Christmas parade pleaded not guilty Friday to scores of criminal charges.Darrell Brooks Jr., 39, entered the pleas to 77 charges, including six counts of homicide and multiple counts of reckless endangerment, during a court appearance that lasted less than five minutes. Brooks' attorneys filed for a change of venue in the case on Thursday, but it's not clear when that motion will be considered.
