NEW DELHI : As industrial and manufacturing units open up across the country in non-containment zones, Union home secretary Ajay Bhalla has written to states clarifying that no CEO will be penalised in any employee tests positive for the corona virus.
The Union home ministry's intervention comes after it pointed out that "some apprehensions, based on wrong interpretation of the guidelines, have been raised." Clarifying its guidelines and stance, the ministry stated that the CEO would not face legal action,ninvkuding imprisonment.
