Love Island to 'go ahead one month late' despite coronavirus lockdown

ITV's Love Island bosses are reportedly determined to ensure that this year's summer edition will be committed despite coronavirus sweeping across Europe.

Sources claim that the popular ITV2 show will now go ahead in July rather than June but as the UK declares an immediate lockdown this could be put in jeopardy.

Fellow ITV show Loose Women came off the air and was instead replaced with re-run episodes. Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway also went ahead without a live studio audience for the first time ever as bosses at the broadcasting company attempt to minimise the amount of staff in at one time.
