Uddhav Thackeray had announced the reopening of religious places from October 7 and issued an SOP for devotees and officials managing places of worship to ensure strict implementation of coronavirus-related protocols.
CM Thackeray urged people not to drop guard and continue COVID-19-appropriate behaviour because of a possible third wave of the pandemic.
While making the announcement, Thackeray said that Maharashtra has prepared itself for a third wave, but with all precautions, the state is allowing relaxations in various activities.
