A mammoth cleanup is underway in Liverpool today after fans left the city "destroyed" with rubbish amid yesterday's Premier League celebrations.
Thousands of Liverpool fans celebrated the club's historic win for a second night leaving behind a sea of empty beer cans, wine bottles and rubbish at Pier Head.
People were injured in the city centre where fireworks were launched at the Royal Liver Building, with unconfirmed reports of a stabbing.
Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson told of people "urinating in doorways" and condemned those who brought a "negative focus on LFC" on Twitter yesterday.
