A man has appeared in court after he woke a woman up in the middle of the night and started exposing himself to her. Jamie Haslam had been drinking heavily and claims he remembers very little of the incident which saw him pull down his trousers and touch himself while saying to the victim, "I love you".

The 26-year-old appeared at the back of the woman's Radcliffe home at around 2.30am on Thursday morning and began banging on the door and asking to come in, Manchester Magistrates Court heard.

Despite having no connection or prior relationship with the victim, she heard Haslam shouting, "I love you, I will do anything for you".
