An elderly man has been taken to hospital with burns following a fire. Emergency services were scrambled to Ashfield Avenue, in Atherton, just before 10am.
An air ambulance landed at nearby St George's School and two rapid response vehicles were also dispatched. Police and firefighters are also at the scene.
