Harry Maguire is providing essential food packages to elderly residents in the village where he grew up. The Manchester United star has arranged for the items to be delivered to residents over the age of 70 by two local businesses who have also been affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
A message posted on the Mosborough Community Forum Facebook page revealed Maguire's act of generosity and the England international has spoken about the scheme. “I am very proud of my Mosborough roots,” he said. “It’s where I grew up and where my family still live.
I come back to visit everyone as much as I can. “There’s always been a real sense of community in the area which is more important than ever at the moment.
