The administrator at the Bobcaygeon, Ont., nursing home which has been ravaged by a deadly coronavirus outbreak says “many” of the home’s residents have now tested negative for COVD-19.
Mary Carr didn’t provide an exact number of residents at Pinecrest Nursing Home in the village 50 kilometres north of Peterborough.
Since an outbreak was declared at the 65-bed facility, 28 residents have died of COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus. A change in data from the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit on Thursday determined one resident did not die of COVID-19.
