Mass asymptomatic testing for Edmundston, N.B. as variant COVID-19 cases confirmed

‘We need those people’: N.B. businesses look forward to visitors from Quebec border Health officials say variant cases are appearing in the area, so they’re setting up the clinic to test asymptomatic people to “help determine if there has been any further spread in the region.”“This is available for individuals who do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 and who are not self-isolating but who wish to be tested,” a news release notes.Testing will be held Thursday and Friday at Saint-Basile arena from 10 a.m.

to 6 p.m.Appointments are not needed, and tests will be conducted on a first-come-first-served basis.As well, a case has been confirmed at Carrefour de la Jeunesse school in Edmundston.
