Matthew Perry looked worlds away from his Friends hey day when he wore a coronavirus mask in Los Angeles. The actor first found his feet on the ladder to fame when he landed the role as hunky and charming Chandler Bing in Friends in 1994.

Now the sitcom star, 50, was seen going about his day-to-day life in Los Angeles with a mask on amid the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.

Matthew grabbed a takeaway coffee from a café as shops and restaurants have begun to open their doors to customers. The charming star layered a checkered shirt over his grey T-shirt for his low-key outing.

Matthew emerged from lockdown after he issued a warning to his fan base to stay alert as he said "COVID is still very much with us".
