Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been forced to scrap plans for a celebrity-filled birthday bash for their son Archie’s first birthday, it has been revealed.
The couple had apparently hoped to mix their son’s big day on May 6 with a “welcome to Los Angeles” party, having recently moved to Hollywood from Canada.
But the coronavirus lockdown in LA, which has now been extended, has reportedly scuppered their plans and left the pair, who quit as royals on March 31, “crushed”.
And a business associate of the pair says the couple have no intention of flouting the rule by throwing a big party for their baby son.
