Meghan Markle and the royal staff at Buckingham Palace had a “clash of cultures” before she and Prince Harry stepped down from their roles as senior royals, a royal expert has claimed. The 38 year old Duchess of Sussex, who’s plans for son Archie’s birthday was ruined amid the coronavirus, is understood to ruffled the feathers of the palace staff who had “served Queen and country” for many years.
Royal expert Camilla Tominey explained to The New Yorker that former actress Meghan “had critics inside the palace”. She suggested Meghan’s characteristics caused staff to be “less enamored of the very qualities that made her irresistible to the press: her showbiz lustre, self-confidence, and feminist habits of assertion”.
