Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American former actress and the wife of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Meghan Markle has made her first appearance since announcing her miscarriage and has praised key workers for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.The Duchess of Sussex, who previously shared an emotional message to mark Caroline Flack's birthday, appeared in a clip on CNN to commend those who have worked hard during the difficult time.
In the video, Meghan, 39, can be seen sat on a bench in the grounds of her California mansion which she shares with husband Prince Harry and son Archie.
Speaking on Sunday night, the former actress said: "In a year that has been universally challenging for everyone, I'm inspired by the stories of compassion in our communities.
