NFL coach Sean McVay has revealed he traded coaching tips with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta during a two-hour Zoom call. McVay is in charge of the Los Angeles Rams, who are also owned by the Gunners' majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, and the pair sat down during lockdown to pick each other's brains.

Speaking on Friday as part of a video conference, McVay said of the meeting: "Arteta is really an impressive guy. "I think he’ll do a great job, and I'm certainly a fan of Arsenal and love following them, just through those relationships, through the Kroenke family.
