Like many other businesses and organizations in Canada, the Multiple Sclerosis Society has had to make some changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic to continue their goal of a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS).
Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world, with an average of 11 Canadians diagnosed every day. MS is a chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system.
Most people diagnosed with the disease are between the ages of 20 and 49, and the unpredictable effects of the disease last the rest of their lives.
For those Canadians living with and affected by MS, the COVID-19 pandemic presents additional concerns on top of an already challenging condition. “This is a difficult time for all Canadians, and for Canadians
