A furious mum has posted a picture of her teenage daughter after she endured a torrent of horrific abuse while working at a supermarket.
The 18-year-old was pictured crying after being the victim of foul-mouthed tirades by panic buyers. The young woman, named Jordyn, had just finished a shift at Woolworths in Queensland, Australia, when the snap was taken, her mum said.
Debara Nydrle wrote on Facebook alongside the image: “Thank you to all the a**holes who think its okay to abuse Woolies staff to the point where you break them, daily, multiple times a day.” She urged people to kind to supermarket workers who have to work during the pandemic, which has claimed 21 lives in Australia.
