A woman who tested positive for coronavirus while pregnant has given birth to a healthy baby boy. The mum, named only as Paula, was first admitted to the Royal Bolton Hospital 17 weeks into her pregnancy.
She fell seriously ill with coronavirus and had to be intubated in the critical care unit, reports Manchester Evening News. Thankfully, medics were able to get her well again and home safely to continue her pregnancy.
