A murderer who hacked a homeless man to death has died of suspected Covid-19. George Greenshields, 68, was a prisoner at HMP Perth when he died - more than 30 years after he was jailed for the brutal killing of vulnerable James Griffin.
The fiend was released early in 2005 but found himself back behind bars just six months later when he slashed a man’s throat with a breadknife in a booze-fuelled attack.
