PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating after four men broke into a home and assaulted a man in Northeast Philadelphia. The incident happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. on the 6900 block of Horrocks Street. Police say four unknown men, two of which were armed, forced entry through the basement door. They then assaulted a 41-year-old man and took approximately $28,000 ($10,000 in coins, $10,000 in checks, and $8,000 in cash) in various currency from the man.

COVID-19 in Nova Scotia declined slightly since Friday, the province announced on Saturday.In an abbreviated weekend news release, the province said there were 79 people in hospital who were admitted due to COVID-19 and were receiving specialized care in a designated unit. That’s down by three since Friday.However, another three people were in intensive care, for a total of 14.

People watching more entertainment programming while sheltering at home propelled Netflix to a strong first three months of 2020, the company announced TuesdayThe streaming giant added 15.8 million subscribers during the first quarter of the year, a period of record growth that has rocketed its global base to nearly 183 million.Netflix had expected to add just 7 million subs during the period, but the company forecast that growth before the full effects of the pandemic had been felt globally.In spite of the strong period, CEO Reed Hastings hit a somber note in his letter to shareholders. "In our 20+ year history, we have never seen a future more uncertain or unsettling," he wrote.

Netflix has a huge new audience, largely due to the ongoing global health crisis, which has millions staying at home.

As the streaming wars kick it up to the next level with Peacock and soon HBO Max on the battlefield, a surging Netflix made it very apparent who is still king, in no small part thanks to the success of “Tiger King” and the return of “Money Heist.”

With no end in sight to Hollywood's widespread work stoppage due to the novel coronavirus, Netflix has upped its relief fund for the now-unemployed production community. The fund's amount has been increased by 50 percent to $150 million, a company spokesperson confirmed Friday morning.
