Netflix series branded 'best show in a long time' with near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes rating

A new Netflix series has become a hit with viewers after earning an impressive score on Rotten Tomatoes. The original series named The Brothers Sun is an action-comedy that fans are calling the streaming giant’s 'best show in a long time.' The brand new action-packed show is an eight-part series which follows the lives of a criminal Asian-American family, fronted by Oscar-winning Everything Everywhere All at Once actress Michelle Yeoh.

The all-Asian cast channel their inner Keanu Reeves throughout the series in martial arts-filled fight scenes with help of fight coordinators from the first John Wick film, reports The Mirror.

When the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son, legendary killer Charles “Chairleg” Sun - played by Justin Chien - has to then head to Los Angeles to protect his mother, Eileen Sun (Yeoh) and his naive younger brother, Bruce, played by Sam Song Li, who is none the wiser about his family's criminal activities.
