An upcoming big screen adaptation of Cinderella starring Camila Capello promises to drag the fairytale into the 21st century with a powerful feminist message.
Sony pictures is in the midst of creating a whole new version of the Charles Perrault classic tale featuring 23-year-old pop beauty Camila as the titular star.
The remake will see Pose actor Billy Porter play a “genderless” fairy godmother and feature empowering tunes from the likes of Missy Elliott – who is part of the cast as a town crier – singing a revamped version of Beyonce's song Single Ladies.
Cinderella was in the middle of filming when the coronavirus outbreak shut down production in the UK, but sources close to the movie say what has been captured so far is sure to
