From a dry cough to a fever, coronavirus is known to be associated with a range of unpleasant symptoms. Now, experts have warned of another, less common symptom of Covid-19 - abdominal pain.
The warning comes after a 37-year-old nurse in Queensland discovered he had the virus after experiencing abdominal pain. Deputy Premier and Health Minister Steven Miles explained: “He identified he had abdominal pain, not normally considered a symptom of COVID-19, but he was incredibly wise and he identified that that was a symptom that could be from COVID-19. “He went and got tested and that test came back positive.” Mr Miles added that regularly monitoring your health can ensure any unusual symptoms are flagged quickly.
