NHS releases list of 69 specialist centres set up to help people with long Covid

Specialist clinics have been established in England to help people suffering from the long-term effects of the coronavirus.

The NHS has released a full list of the 69 clinics helping long Covid sufferers throughout the country. Plans for some 43 clinics were previously announced by NHS England in November, which has provided £10 million for the network.

The health service highlighted that research suggested one in five people with coronavirus develop longer term symptoms. Symptoms of long Covid include brain fog, anxiety, depression, breathlessness, fatigue and other debilitating issue.

The latest official guidelines in Britain use two definitions: people may have "ongoing symptomatic Covid-19" if symptoms persist from four to 12 weeks,
