Data gathered by the Mental Health Commission shows "a notable decrease" in the total number of suspected and confirmed cases of Covid-19 in mental health services across the country.
There are more than 3,900 mental health patients and residents in 181 mental health facilities nationwide. However, the commission has expressed concern that as of last week some mental health staff were waiting for Covid-19 test results, despite the introduction of guidance over a month ago that required all staff to be tested.
