An intensive care coronavirus nurse working 65-hour weeks has shared a picture of her exhausted face – badly bruised by Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

Aimee Goold shared the heartbreaking image on Facebook in a bid to urge people to stay indoors over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The NHS nurse, from Nottinghamshire, works at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospital and begged people to remember her tired face before stepping outside this weekend.

Exhausted Aimee said her bruised face is a visual representation of "going through hell". She is pictured dressed in full scrubs and has red welts and sore marks across her nose and cheeks from coronavirus PPE.
