REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - An investigation by Delaware State Police near a Rehoboth Beach apartment complex is not a threat to the public, officials said.Delaware State Police were called to a wooded area near East Atlantic Apartments, in Rehoboth Beach, Sunday morning, around 11:30.

It was initially called a criminal investigation.Troopers found the body of a man in the wooded area near the apartments. It’s an area where homeless people are known to congregate, according to authorities.The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.Officials said the incident did not pose a threat to the public.The man’s relatives were being contacted and there were no other details regarding his identity..

When officers arrived they found a 28-year-old man lying on the floor with the mid-section of a snake wrapped around his neck, according to police. PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia man was filming baby raccoons during a late night walk in the city when an adult raccoon suddenly charged and bit him. Benjamin McCool told FOX 29 he was walking near 18th and Christian streets in early July when he spotted the raccoon kits scaling an alleyway fence. "They're like acrobats right now," McCool can be heard saying to his friends. McCool kept his distance as the raccoons dropped one-by-one from the fence, when suddenly and adult raccoon charged McCool and nipped him in the leg. "It bit me! It bit me! It bit me!" McCool can be heard screaming on the video. The video then cuts to McCool receiving treatment for the raccoon bite and detailing the series of rabies shots he needed. About two weeks later, McCool said he finished his regiment of shots that included a trio of jabs the night of the attack and three return trips for other shots. He told FOX 29 that if he sees raccoons again, he'll stay away.

WAYNE COUNTY, Miss. - Quinten Hogan gave his mother, Tawanna Davis, something she never expected: the gift of life. The 25-year-old man of Wayne County, Mississippi, recently donated his kidney to Davis after she had been experiencing kidney problems for more than a year. Doctors told Davis, a 45-year-old former corrections officer, that her creatinine levels were increasing as she battled hypertension and diabetes. She started dialysis later in the year.
