NHS Ayrshire & Arran has announced that an advance booking facility for booster and flu jabs is now open to eligible residents in the region.

The online portal is available to allow the following groups to book their winter vaccination appointments:The portal will provide an advance booking facility with appointments for dates running throughout December, as vaccinations for earlier priority groups are being completed at the moment.

In Ayrshire, to accelerate the vaccination programme, some GPs are offering seasonal flu vaccinations to patients aged 50 to 59 and 16 to 59-year-olds in the most at-risk groups for flu.
