Perth pub has been forced to close after an outbreak of COVID-19. The Welcome Inn, located in the highly populated Letham area of the city, confirmed the news on Friday, June 4.Management said the pub would not be open until further notice after staff and customers testing positive for the virus.The Welcome Inn's Facebook page posted a notice to keep the public informed."The Welcome Inn will be closed as some staff members and some customers have tested positive for COVID," it said."We will get every staff member tested and the place deep cleaned and will keep you informed."We will only open again when it is safe to do so.....thankyou."A spokesperson for Star Pubs and Bars which owns the venue said: "A group came into the pub on Saturday.
