Peter Kay thanks nurses and key workers for joining in Amarillo remake

Peter Kay has thanked key worker heroes for getting involved in the recreation of his Armarillo music video. The comedian called for nurses and the likes to join him in remaking the video for BBC’s Big Night In, 15 years after Bill Roache, Michael Parkinson and Orville the Duck featured in his first version.

Taking to Twitter, Peter penned: ‘I wanted to say a huge heartfelt thanks to everybody who’s took the time to film themselves marching to Amarillo. ‘We’ve literally received thousands.

Lots of very emotional clips from nurses & care workers & key workers & shoe repairers. Thank you all xxx’ He then showcased the footage that had been sent in so far by sharing a number of videos to his profile.
