COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors’ Union says that a program has been launched to inspect restaurants during the festive season.Chairman of the Union , Upul Rohana said that special attention will be paid to the production of food as well as the raw materials used for the production.He noted that charges have been filed against several restaurants for selling food that have been expired and of low-quality.Additionally, Rohana emphasized the public to practice health precautions when purchasing food items during the festive season. .
